Loving Vintage at the moment

This picture is of my Dad & my Grammy Allen. It cracks me up - especially the ever-present scowl on my Dad's face in pictures (still there to this day!). I really enjoyed working with the vintage-y October Afternoon papers, the velvet lace, Kaiser Pearls, SEI Rub-ons and the 7Gypsies pin I found in my stash.

StudioCalico April Kit

This is a layout that I created recently with supplies from StudioCalico.com's April Kit - Jack & Jill. These photos are of my Grammy Allen and I in the 1970's. Our family would vacation in New England each summer, visiting with relatives in Haverhill, Massachusetts. This is a pottery 'shack' somewhere along the way that we would always stop at. I still remember the piles of pottery everywhere... even hanging from the ceilings.

Note: My Mom used to make all of my clothes back then. Hmm.... looks like maybe she made Grammy's clothes, too. We look like twins!

I LOVE Pink :)

ME

This is me. Starbucks lovin' computer geek.... stylin' in pink. Mama to Dylan, Scrapbook addict. Loud. Proud. I can cook and bake, but I usually don't do either anymore than I have to. I hate housework. I once maintained a household... cooked, cleaned, shopped for groceries... all in a fairly efficient manner. I'm not sure what happened to that person, but that's NOT me now. I am who I am. Take it or leave it.
